just a tribute: to guilty pleasures

I am embarrassed to share this, but I LOVE the song "Call me, maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. I currently blame it on having a 12 year old sister, we will see how long I can use her as an excuse.

I will need my siblings to start having kids soon so when my 12 year old sister grows up I will have a reason to watch Disney movies. Until then I guess I will be a good sister and keep treating her to go see movies like Brave (it looks so good)!

just a tribute: to a facelift

I know what you are all thinking, I am too young and beautiful to get a face lift. Well, you are right, I am too young and definitely too beautiful. Therefore, it's a good thing I'm not getting one! This post is a tribute to my blog getting a much needed face lift!

After a strange 2 month hibernation I am ready to crawl out of my cave and start posting again! I would love to hear your thoughts on things you would like to hear about!

I'm not going to lie, I have been a pretty poor excuse of a blogger lately (key word "pretty"). I have had the craziest schedule from traveling for work, to planning a bachelorette party, to preparing for a vacation, to catching up on all my reality tv shows! But all excuses aside, I will do my best to continue blogging it up! I would love any and all input on what have been your favorite posts and what you would like to see more of!

I recently went to the Washington DC car show with my family and had a blast! We have been going to this auto show for years and it never disappoints. Here are a few snapshots from the day:

 The sad thing about this picture is that my brother actually owns a pager.

 

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day. I think it is safe to say John and I can never own a Fiat or any other small car for that matter.

This is the car that convinced John to come to the car show. It is dream to one day own a lambo....I can support that :)



just a tribute: to a well balanced breakfast

I used to be one of those people who never made time for breakfast in the morning. I have now realized how important it is to jump-start your metabolism. Lately I have been going through a real oatmeal phase. Usually I just have plain oatmeal and add a little Splenda to sweeten it up, however I have recently been adding some fresh berries to the mix and have fallen in love! I cant wait until berries are actually in season and a little more affordable :)

This mornings breakfast!

 As many of you may know about me, I am not a big coffee drinker. I like the occasional coffee on the weekend, but otherwise I am a dedicated tea drinker. Every season my choice of tea changes and right now I am all about Tazo branded Chai tea! I highly recommend you all give it a go!

I drink mine with a little splenda and a splash of milk!
